Tuesday, September 9th, 2003

Leading computer and video games online and TV company Gamer.tv (www.gamer.tv) today announced the launch of Gamer.tv Plus!, a premium online content service offering a wealth of exclusive features aimed at the mass gaming market.

Gamer.tv Plus! will offer early access to online video previews, reviews and features, drawn from its editorial team and stable of worldwide TV shows, as well as an array of cutting-edge browser games and a thriving community.

The Gamer.tv Plus! editorial team is second to none and scours the globe for red hot news and behind-the-scenes gossip 24 hours around the clock. With connections across both the interactive entertainment and television industries around the world, the Gamer.tv Plus! editorial content is guaranteed to be up-to-date, entertaining and insightful.

Gamer.tv Plus! users will now be able to play the all-new Deluxe version of the hugely popular Dinky Bomb, complete with new characters, levels and weapons, as well as Voodoo Magic, an all-new multiplayer game revolving around turn-based black magic.

Furthermore, for players with a bent towards more traditional board and card games, Gamer.tv Plus! also caters for classics such as Whist, Chess, Checkers, Poker, Backgammon, Hearts, Reversi, Quadrow and, the old man’s favourite, Dominoes.

The Gamer.tv Plus! community has been greatly enhanced to offer access to exclusive competitions, special offers, private messaging, buddy lists and tournaments, offering great prizes and a chance to become part of the Gamer.tv Plus! elite.

‘We have spent the last year building and perfecting our offering and are confident that we have found the right mix of games content that appeals to customer segments that are willing to spend money online,’ commented Chris Bergstresser, CEO, Gamer.tv.

‘In choosing our games content offering we have understood that consumers don’t just play games, they also listen to music, watch movies and play sport. Gamer.tv Plus! is therefore designed to be a part of our consumers total entertainment lifestyle,’ said Chris Noone, Director of Business Development, Gamer.tv.

For a limited period of three months, Gamer.tv Plus! is offering a one-month free trial to sample all of the new features.

Gamer.tv combines television and the Internet - the world's two strongest communication media - to deliver a dedicated one-stop online gaming resource, as well as compelling and entertaining TV video games programmes. Gamer.tv has a total of six video game-related programmes in production including a weekly magazine show. Its programmes are broadcast to over 300 million households worldwide.

The Gamer.tv Plus! premium content service launches at www.gamer.tv today, priced £2.99 per month. A one-month free trial is available for the next three months.
