I remember when I first got my Dreamcast. Soul Calibur was the first fighting game I got on it. The game was awesome. The gameplay was fun and addicting. It was even better playing with your friends. Soul Calibur was rated the #1 Dreamcast title by the Official Dreamcast Magazine. Well, the DC is dead now. The second greatest fighting game ever (next to VF4 on the PS2) is now getting a sequel. The best part is that it's on all three of the next generation consoles!
The original game was so kick ass, the sequel promises to be even better. I've played it at the arcade, and I'm telling ya, this game ownz. You can expect a better control system along with even better graphics. And oh yeah, did I mention all three versions of this game have a special character not found on the other? The Xbox version will feature the "Spawn" character as our special addition. Overall, I'd say Soul Calibur 2 is looking to be the best fighting game headed to Xbox this year. With many enhancements in all areas, now the question is will it beat Sega's Virtua Fighter 4 or not. Stay tuned for more coverage on Soul Calibar 2 as we get near its release!
