Digital Anvil's first Xbox title, Brute Force, is a new action-packed sci-fi squad-based shooter. Players can instantly take control of any one of four highly specialized super-commandos. Whether the encounter requires stealth, tactics, sniping, or just "Brute Force," the team is ready and able to kick butt.
The game will focus on using strategy for survival. Brute Force can be played solo in the single-player mode, or you can have up to three others jump in to play in the Dynamic Co-op mode or battle it out in a number of different competitive death-match modes.
In the game, gamers can explore six stunning worlds, each with a unique, exotic environment, enemies and gameplay strategies. You can also expect to have a good arsenal of weapons. Gamers can choose from a vast number of deadly weapons, equipment and gadgets. You will be able to equip teams with Miniguns, Sonic Cannons, Stealth Suits, Sniper Rifles, Psychic Blasts and more. Each weapon is designed to take advantage of different enemies and are you're in. Gamers will learn the strengths and weaknesses of each weapon to master the game. To survive in each world, players will have to learn how to best use the unique abilities of the 4 different commandos. Gamers have complete control over the universe's toughest commandos. You'll be able to choose from a deadly sniper, the war-hardened assault trooper, a cunning scout or a feral alien. With the tap of just a single button, you'll be able to switch between commandos and select a different squad member perfect for the specific situation. Strategy is a must, as each commando is uniquely qualified for different scenarios, and it is up to the gamer to determine how to best make use of their skills. You'll be happy to hear the game supports Xbox LIVE! and System Link. Gamers with Xbox LIVE! will be able to download new maps and missions. You can also expect some jaw dropping visuals. The dazzling effects include dynamic lighting and gorgeous graphics beautifully rendered in a variety of environments. The game will feature some high-resolution textures. As far as sound goes, you can expect to experience some incredible realism of Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound. We'll have a full review as soon as the game is released, so stay tuned!
