Jet Set Radio Future Review

Jet Set Radio Future

Buy Game:
Game Info
It may have not sold well, but does that mean it's really a bad game? Well the answer to that is "HELL NO!" since the game kicks butt. Anyways, the setting is Tokyo, in the year 2024. Freedom is a valuable commidity and freedom of expression even more. JSRF- Jet Set Radio Future uses the power of the Xbox to create living, breathing cities that are filled with oppertunities. The game features unique anime-style graphics. So your probably wondering by now what exactly you do...Choose a character, strap on your rocket powered skates, and spray that graffiti baby!

This is one of the best games available on the Xbox right now. The gameplay consists of spraying graffiti accross the city and doing so with a nice pair of skates. You can grind on rails, go flying into the air thanks to your speed, and pull of awesome stunts in mid-air. The A button is used to jump. The streets have bottles off spray-paint kinda like how Mario games have coins. The bottles are of course nessecary to spray paint. If you hit the start button during the game, you'll see a map of the area with arrows pointing to places where you must spray paint. As you go around, you'll see a yellow circle pointing down to a spot in different areas and that's where you gotta spray paint. To actually spray paint the griffiti, you just walk up to the spot and press down the right trigger(the one used to kick Covenant ass in Halo). So like I said, your in Tokyo. You'll go around different streets at a time and spray paint and pull off some nice stunts and stuff that you'll need to do sometimes to get to hard to reach places.

The graphics are anime-style. The correct term for this is cel-shading. The graphics are so good, I simply cannot describe them. It's like watching a cartoon, but in 3D with neat lighting and some other effects. This probably the only cel-shaded game on the Xbox right now, so this is definitely an experience you cannot miss.

This is probably the hippest game on god's green earth. The sound is excellent. Now I never listen to music, but the music in this game is beyond teh |337 if you know what I mean. Of course you'll hear the sound of skates and your character screaming as you fall down 2 stories, but the hip-hop sound track in the back rocks.

This game is a master piece. It comes with the Xbox bundle which is widely available right now, but anyone that doesn't have it needs to get my their ass, and pick it up now! If you don't have this game, you really need to get it. I piti the foo that doesn't rent this game at the very least...of course though, you'll love it so much you might not even return it.
